The five National Fireplace Institute Reference Manuals are the heart and soul of our certification program and are used throughout the industry as the “goto” source for information on the proper way to install hearth appliances.  The update and revision process landed on my desk after the person responsible for our manuals retired.  While I can talk about the proper way to install a gas fireplace or wood burning stove, graphic design and manual construction is way outside of my list of abilities.  Lewis Media walked with me through the entire process, cleaned up things that needed to be fixed, made the changes we requested, made suggestions when there was a better way and the result is a set of new manuals that will serve our industry incredible well. I can’t begin to say how happy I am with their service and how proud I am of our new manuals.
